Today Show reviews 4 Xprize entrants. In our opinion the Ale was the star of the show!

Within days of the announcement that FVT had made it into the "OFFICIAL" list of XPrize competitors, Popular Mechanics magazine named them in the top 9
It all started with the first generation platform we called the Ale. At 92 mpg and an acceleration of 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds, the Ale served as an invaluable proving ground for our initial system concepts. We knew, however, that we needed radical new power technologies to leap past the 100mpge goal of the X Prize. The result of bringing together the practical knowledge of the original Ale team, with world class researchers has now brought us the eVaro. Built on the proven foundation refined during the Ale series testing, the eVaro adds series hybrid technology, along with a number of as yet unannounced breakthroughs to give us an overall system performance that is completely unprecedented.
